Day 22 - Univarsal Studios Hollywood!
the second day of our stay in Los Angeles we visited another theme park, Universal Studios Hollywood! Basically consist of a theme park where the rides and shows are focused on the characters and Universal Pictures, in a small town full of shops, restaurants and cinemas, and finally to the actual prow of the Universal film studios! After watching an exciting "Shrek 4D" and a climb up some ride we started the guided tour at the studios, where there are still scenes of blockbuster movies on show for visitors! Very impressive was how to succeed in small spaces to create environments that true then we saw many films! Among the most famous scenes in the exhibition "War of the Worlds," "Desperate Housewives," "Jaws," "The Mummy," "Psycho," "Fast and Fourios", "Donkey Kong "and many more! ... Then in the evening some of us went to see Harry Potter 5 (in theatrical release was available on 13 of 12 in the halls of Universal) in the big city of Hollywood cinema! Was projected nell'IMAX inter alia, that a room with a screen much larger than normal (twice), and specifically for that type of room the main piece of film was shot in 3D (to be seen with special glasses) and I assure you that a scene so exciting living in a screen that completely fills the view of the viewer and 3D was one of the most exciting experiences ever experienced in the cinema! ...
- a piece of scenery used in the original a scene from the film "War of the Worlds" to create it ... I think they took a real plane, they carried them, and destroyed!
- One of the machines used in Fast and Fourious! ...
- Two meetings of the happy events in the park! The Simpsons ...
-... and SpiderMan! ..
- and the tickets that we struggled to get Harry Potter! (All evening shows were sold out (sold out ))!...

Day 19 - Las Vegas!
last night after a long tirade of 250 miles (no stops) we arrived in Las Vegas! We have pleasantly discovered that our hotel, Planet Hollywood is one of the most famous street of the town, located in front of the Bellagio and next to Paris and at Caesars Palace! Upon entering we found that the stories of so many people before us were in Las Vegas were not able to make it remotely! The city lit up at night is something unreal, luxury and pomp that appear before your eyes is something very exaggerated and hilarious ... Let's try some pictures to make you realize some of the beauties of this city, but remember that here, if you have not do not you think! Here are the pictures !....

Day 17 - Midway & ... Saturday night in Hollywood!
Route: from San Diego (California) Los Angeles (California), 120 miles (190 km).
In the seventeenth day of our trip, we returned to Los Angeles. But before leaving for the capital of California, we visited the Midway museum ship! The Midway was one of the the most important ships aircraft carriers after the war on, and having now ceased its service was held in permanent museum in the Bay of San Diego. Visit was a great emotion because it is rare to see a live carrier (Italy possesses only and is not remotely like this) even more so visit it! In addition to a guided tour inside the ship we got on the flight deck where they are now on display the most glorious military aircraft in history! Among the many F-14 Tomcat protagonists of the historic movie Top Gun! In the afternoon we then spread to Los Angeles where we had dinner in an Italian pizzeria on Hollywood Boulevard or take a walk on the sidewalks the famous "Walk of Stars" where on earth are the names of the characters of the show of all time in addition to the footprints and signatures of the same! Here are the photos! ...
- Here is the view from the mainland carrier! ...
- The legendary fighter-bomber, the star of Top Gun: The F-14 Tomcat
- The catapult! Pressure system that allows planes to take off in so little space! (You can see the row in front of the wheel which is substantially the lane on which runs the hook (white) that pulls the front wheel of the aircraft).
- The cable that engages the plane on landing in order to stop in time! - Un'overview the midway!
- And finally, a tile walk of the stars!

Day 15 - 120 ° Fahrenheit: Record!
Location: Phoenix (Arizona) at Yuma (Arizona), 184 miles (300 km).
Today was a day for the first stage of the transfer that will take us from the capital of Arizona to San Diego (California). - a typical house in the residential center of the Yuma desert.
- a pearl of wisdom offered by teaching the local elementary school (Translated: "Freedom is nothing but an opportunity to be better").
- and end of the day, the customary dip in the pool!
